Last summer’s Breaker Rock Beach® was one of the most impactful Vacation Bible Schools in recent memory. The biblical content, which called out the lies of culture and countered them with the truth of Scripture, seemed to resonate deeply with church leaders. And the testimonies of the impact of VBS which many of you shared with me were incredible.
I heard one story from a pastor in Louisiana where four generations in a single family have now come to know the Lord because the great grandchild came to VBS! In Nigeria, 600 children and 127 adults gathered together for Breaker Rock Beach without the aid of a missions team from the U.S.
In Cuba, a small team conducted virtual VBS trainings to equip over 400 Cuban churches to do VBS. Those 400 churches reached an estimated 14,700 children, resulting in 3,400 children and 470 adults who accepted Christ! In the U.S. alone, last summer’s VBS resulted in nearly 70,000 professions of faith! God is up to something BIG through VBS and I’m so grateful He allows us to be part of it!
