Did you recently become a follower of Jesus Christ and now aren't sure where to begin? Are you a church leader looking for resources to help guide new believers on their faith journey?

Below are five Bible studies we recommend for new Christians.

My New Life

My New Life Bible Study

New Christians can easily become overwhelmed trying to figure out how to be a Christ-follower. For believers to grow, they need to have an understanding of the gospel, God’s Word, God’s character, prayer, and so much more. My New Life explains these concepts in short, simple-to-understand daily readings. Whether completed individually or with a mentor, this study will help new believers grow in their knowledge of God’s Word and provide a foundation on which their trust in Jesus can grow for the rest of their lives.

In My New Life, new Christians will be given deep truths in short, simple-to-understand daily readings on weekly topics. Whether completed individually or with a mentor, this study will help new believers grow in their knowledge of God’s Word and provide a foundation on which their trust in Jesus can grow for the rest of their lives.

The Forge Bible Study

THE FORGE Bible Study

The call to be disciples and to make disciples is the central theme of THE FORGE and this coordinating study. During the five weeks of group gatherings, you’ll examine the teachings of Jesus and applications within the early church to build a framework for discipleship. Each session includes a film clip as an on-ramp to study Scripture and examine a specific concept. Accompanying each week of group Bible study are three devotional opportunities for you to continue growing through personal study. Along the way, you’ll be challenged to look back at how you have been forged as a disciple, seek new ways to grow, and look forward to making a significant discipleship investment in others in the future.

Fully Devoted Bible Study

Fully Devoted Bible Study

In this 8-week study, Alex Kendrick and Stephen Kendrick challenge you to see the world as Jesus did and begin inviting, teaching, and serving lost and searching people so they can follow Him as you have. Go from being a believer in Christ to a true disciple who is wholly surrendered to His will.

Foundations – New Testament Bible Study

Foundations – New Testament Bible Study

In Foundations: New Testament, Robby and Kandi Gallaty lead individuals through the 27 divinely inspired books of the New Testament in one year, while still offering the flexibility of reading only five days each week. The HEAR journaling method will allow individuals to read and respond to God’s Word as they highlight, explain, apply, and respond to passages throughout the yearlong plan.

Storyteller Bible Study Series - James

Storyteller Bible Study Series - James

Storyteller is a series of devotional and group Bible study experiences designed to take people through Scripture in a way that is beautiful, intuitive, and interactive. Each volume uses a book of the Bible or a portion of Scripture from within a book to examine a key theme. This theme guides the Bible study experience and gives readers handles to help them understand and digest what they’re reading.

The book of James is a wonderful companion piece to the teachings of Jesus recorded in the four Gospels. James has a strong ethical emphasis that is consistent with the moral teachings Jesus gave to His disciples. James also mirrors Jesus’s strong denunciations of religious hypocrisy. Like Jesus’s teachings, the book of James is both a source of exhortation and comfort, reproof and encouragement. Finally, James is known for being extremely practical, yet it contains some of the most profound theological truths of the New Testament. Storyteller James will help readers embrace a life of faith that is demonstrated in active belief.
