Breakout Sessions

  • Transformational leaders unselfishly inspire others and grow alongside those they serve. A survey of the Book of Hebrews will show how Christ modeled transformational leadership by valuing others and earning the trust of those that followed him. Learn the characteristics of transformational leaders and discover how to lead groups that exceed goals and expectations.

  • In this session we will do a quick overview of spiritual disciplines and focus on the discipline of the study of the Bible. We will look at translations, Bible types, and tools to help you as you study. You will leave with tools to create a 30-day plan to study God’s Word.

  • We will examine characteristics of the narrative genre in the Old Testament. We will also look at how major, minor, and “other” biblical figures work together in important biblical texts. We will discuss the benefits of activating our senses when reading Scripture and apply what we are learning with quick dives into Scripture.

  • Podcasts are an amazing way to amplify your ministry platform. How can a podcast multiply your impact with the women you’re ministering to? We will walk you through 5 mistakes common to brand new podcasters that set them back when starting their shows or drain their time and resources.

  • Do you find it hard to bounce back from disappointment? Do you look around you and see others living their dreams but you don’t quite know how to get unstuck from a mundane place? Maybe you’ve had to let go of a dream and you are feeling disappointed and forgotten by God. In this breakout, Angie will share how that dark and lonely place might be the best place you could be right now for God to break through and do something amazing.

  • Have you been called to lead women in your local church? Whether you are starting from scratch or in the process of rebuilding, this session will guide you through some basics in assessing your situation and moving forward. Learn principles from the book of Nehemiah and see how the why of ministering to women hasn't changed – the methods have.

  • Who poured into you when you were younger? Who do you wish you had? The reality is you have everything you need to reach the next generation, yet it can feel overwhelming when you have so much else on your to-do lists. Let’s stop over complicating what discipleship is and get practical on what it can look like to make disciples of the next generation!

  • Have you ever felt overwhelmed by life's pressures? You're not alone. Each of us faces daily challenges, striving for peace amid the chaos. Join us as we explore three key areas of stress in our lives, gain practical tools for dealing with stress, and discuss how to lead the next generation toward the peace God desires.

  • When life brings storms and suffering, it can feel like we are cut off from the vine and abandoned by the Father. Our view of life and reality can get turned upside down, impacting even our view of God. Doubts can begin to develop about our calling and ability to lead. Leaders are not immune to suffering. You will be encouraged to know you are not alone. Practical tools and encouragement will be at the heart of this session
