• Session 1: Introduction to 2 Corinthians (33:11)—In the Session 1 video teaching, Christine shares a portion of her own story of suffering to set the stage for the study of 2 Corinthians. Christine unpacks passages in chapters eight and nine of 2 Corinthians to show how generosity is an act of grace, with the ultimate picture of grace giving being found in Christ’s sacrifice on our part. She’ll challenge us to be cheerful givers, understanding that generosity is profitable for the giver and the receiver.
• Session 7: More than Enough for Strength (32:18)—In the Session 7 video teaching, Christine begins by focusing on the ways, teachings, and values of the false teachers. She’ll point out that they foolishly boasted in their strength, while Paul boasted in his weakness. We’ll be called to be like Paul, trusting God’s even in our most difficult times and knowing that in our weakness He is strong.
