Eros - Devocional para jóvenes

Casi todo el mundo en algún momento ha cogido una flor y ha deshojado los pétalos uno a uno para ver si esa persona especial «los ama» o «no los ama». ¿Qué pasa cuando la respuesta es amor?

Estamos programados para Eros, el amor romántico. Desde el principio de los tiempos, Dios nos hizo buscar y encontrar una pareja, unir nuestras vidas y formar una nueva familia. Esto es algo muy bueno.

Pero los tiempos han cambiado y lo que Dios diseñó ha sido distorsionado por el pecado. ¿Cómo sabemos qué está bien? ¿La Palabra de Dios ofrece respuestas a las preguntas difíciles que enfrentamos en nuestro mundo hoy en día? ¿Qué necesitamos creer sobre el amor, el sexo y las relaciones?

Just about everyone at some point has picked up a flower and pulled the petals off one at a time to see if that special someone “loves them” or “loves them not.” What happens when the answer is love?

We are hardwired for Eros—romantic love. From the beginning of time God put it in us to search out and find a match, to unite our lives together, and to make a new family. This is a very good thing.

But times have changed and what God has designed has been distorted by sin. How do we know what is right? Does God’s Word give answers to the tough questions we face in our world today? What do we need to believe about love, sex, and relationships?
