Based on David Platt's book Follow Me, this study will guide students to an understanding of Jesus' call to deny self and live with an unwavering devotion to Him. In the end, a picture of real discipleship will be clearer along with a challenge to not only follow Christ but also to make disciples for His kingdom.

Video Sessions

• Session 1: The Call (13:47)—Author David Platt reveals the majesty of who Jesus is and the reality of what it means to truly follow Him as a disciple. This session will help viewers answer the question “Am I truly a follower of Christ?”
• Session 2: Be Transformed (13:59)—Through an exploration of John 15, David Platt explains how Jesus transforms us from the inside out when we choose to follow Him. This session will help viewers answer the question “What does it mean for Jesus to be the Lord of my life?”
• Session 3: Delight in God (12:04)—Showing how our deepest cravings are meant to be satisfied in God alone, David Platt teaches that following Jesus means loving Him and longing for Him above all else.
• Session 4: God’s Will for Your Life (17:43)—Taking a broad look at the Book of Acts, David Platt exhorts viewers to give God a blank check with their lives and say, “Whatever You want me to do, I’ll do.” This session will help viewers answer the question “What’s God’s will for my life?”
• Session 5: The Church (15:10)—David Platt reveals why many people choose to minimize the importance of the church. Teaching from Ephesians 4, he identifies the local church as a body of baptized believers who are joined together under biblical leadership to grow in the likeness of Christ and express the love of Christ to one another and to the world.
• Session 6: Our Mission (13:05)—Teaching on the Great Commission, author David Platt encourages viewers to recognize the authority of Jesus, to obey the commands of Jesus, and to depend on the presence of Jesus as they seek to make disciples from among all peoples.
