Video Sessions

• Session 1: God (17:17)—In session one, we start with the first part of the gospel: God. We find good news in who God is both for our eternity and our everyday. By unpacking the meaning behind His name, Caroline gives us a glimpse of God’s character and divine nature.  
• Session 2: Sin (13:05)—Session two helps us experience the fullness of the good news of the gospel by understanding the bad news: we are sinners. We often treat sin like no big deal. But God is too good and too merciful to ignore the sin that is within us.  
• Session 3: Jesus’s Perfect Life (13:00)—This session is all about the perfect life of Jesus. While we could never live a sinless life, Jesus was perfect in every way. The good news of the gospel is that we receive His righteousness so we can have right standing before God.  
• Session 4: Jesus’s Punishing Death (12:25)—In session four, we learn the good news of how Yahweh sent Jesus to die as the rescue plan for the sinful world. Yahweh does not leave sin unpunished, but punished Jesus so that sinners might be forgiven. 
• Session 5: Jesus’s New Life (15:32)—In the last session, we learned about how Jesus died a punishing death for our sin. But, He didn’t stay dead. He miraculously rose from the dead and now offers us the good news of new life in Him.  
• Session 6: The Holy Spirit (14:40)—Session six walks us through the many ways the Holy Spirit is good news for us as followers of Jesus. Caroline teaches how we need the Holy Spirit to grow fruit in us that reflects God’s character and not our sinful flesh.  
• Session 7: Jesus’s Return (14:08)—Jesus’ return is good news for our hearts every single day. In this session, we see how this broken world points us to when Jesus will return and make all things wonderful forever. 
• Session 8: See the Gospel & Sing the Gospel (13:57)—As we close out this study, Caroline shares that the final part of the gospel is how we can’t keep it to ourselves. The gospel isn’t just good news for us, but it is good news for everyone around us. Therefore, let us be gospel singers as God sings it over us.
