The story is timeless; the message never changes. Yet, if we look at Calvary through different eyes, a whole new perspecitve can be gained about the cross and God's love for us. Such is the intent of this musical by Tom Fettke and Camp Kirkland.

The writings of Max Lucado serve as narrative (one or two readers) setting up songs carefully chosen by Tom, while original underscore further dramatizes each moment. Finally, Camp creates a beautifully woven tapestry through his masterful orchestrating of a unique musical account of the Christ of Calvary. Songs that qualify as choral music standards are brought together with compositions written exclusively for this project as well as the best of recently popularized material.

The biblical story remains: Christ died for our sins. As you approach the Easter season and the cross, this work will cause you to take a new, perhaps different look at Calvary. Let us rejoice in the fact that Christ was known by the scars - and that by His stripes we are healed.
