Summer 2025: Volume 4 –Foolishness and Wisdom

In the Volume 4 study, Foolishness and Wisdom, we'll explore the dangers of imitating the world instead of imitating Christ. God made a beautiful covenant with Israel to lead the nation, but the people fell prey to comparison. They observed the pagan nations surrounding them and desired an earthly king to protect them in battle—to be "like all the other nations" (1 Sam. 8:20). God granted their foolish desire and gave them a king, but with each new ruler, one truth was clear: no earthly king would ever be enough. Each one only revealed humanity's deep need for Jesus—for a righteous, humble, Savior King. (14 sessions)
