• Kathy Howard - Discipleship in a Digital Word (General/Ministry Leadership)

  Learn to use technology to support and enhance the discipleship efforts of your women’s ministry. This workshop will help you evaluate your ministry’s discipleship efforts and explore ways to strengthen and supplement them with digital tools. We will explore how email, virtual groups, Social Media, You Tube, and apps can support Bible study, prayer, and other disciplines.

• Kathy Howard - Asked to Speak? (Personal Equipping)

  This practical workshop will share tools to help you effectively communicate with an audience to encourage, equip, or edify. We will cover the basic structures of testimonies, devotionals, and messages, as well as general tips for speaking at any occasion. This session also includes brainstorming to generate ideas for topics and stories.

• Kathy Howard - Practical Help for Understanding God's Word (Biblical Literacy)

  Do you feel confident when you sit down to read and study the Bible? Do you feel equipped to correctly understand – or even teach – God’s Word? This workshop will give you tools to properly read, interpret, and apply Scripture to your life. We will discuss the differences in Bible translations, how to observe a Bible passage, four key factors to help you interpret a passage, and more. You leave better equipped and more confident to approach the Bible.

• Casey Merrifield - Becoming a DOXA Leader (General/Ministry Leadership)

  Leadership is influence, nothing more and nothing less. This practical workshop will give you simple tools to equip you to become a leader that reflects God's glory in every circle of influence. It will help you know if you're creating a culture of empowerment and opportunity for those you lead. Learn with clarity what it means to grow into the the image of God as a leader.

• Casey Merrifield - Discover Your Leadership Voice (Personal Equipping)

  God has gifted you to lead others that are unique to your personality and your personal life story. That often means you connect really well with some and may have difficulty connecting or leading others. Come discover your God-given leadership voice and how to lead in ministry or the marketplace with confidence while valuing everyone you lead.

• Casey Merrifield - Conflict God's Way (Biblical Literacy)

  Not every conflict is sin, but all sin leads to conflict. It's easy to avoid conflict or model poor behaviors that have been modeled to us. Come discover God's way of thinking about conflict and the biblical principles that allow you to navigate it in a way that honors Him and builds up the body of Christ.

• Alicia Wong - Ministry to Women Essentials (General/Ministry Leadership)

  Have you been called to lead women in your local church? Whether you are starting from scratch or in the process of rebuilding, this session will guide you through some basics in assessing your situation and moving forward.
